Take however many frozen chicken breasts you want and place them in the crockpot.  (I happen to use the frozen ones that come in the big bag from Sam's.)  I used 5.
Sprinkle 1 package of taco seasoning over chicken.  (Use the spicy one if you like really spicy or use mild if you just like a bit of bite).
Dump one 12 ounce jar of picante sauce/salsa over the chicken.
Cook on low for about 4 1/2 hours. Check the chicken to see if it shreds easily.  If it does, shred it into chunks and shreds.  If not cook for another hour.
When the chicken shreds easily, add about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of sour cream and one good handfull of the taco or Mexican seasoned pre-shredded cheese.  Stir until it is all mixed together.  Let it sit for about 20 minutes or so to let the flavors mingle.
For my family they heated some tortillas and had them with the chicken.  I topped mine with a couple slices of avacados.
