Cabbage Soup

1 Medium head of cabbage-- shredded
2 large cans of diced tomatoes (or chopped)**
2 cans of beef broth
2 ponds hamburger (browned and crumbled)

Put all but the beef in soup pot.  For each can of tomatoes and broth add a can of water.  While this is coming up to a slow simmer, brown and crumble beef.  Add beef and turn fire to low.  continue to simmer until cabbage is well wilted.

This makes a HUGE pot of soup! (a good 12+ servings of big bowls) Since your serving sizes may vary...the carb count is for the total recipe.  You can use different seasoned tomatoes for different flavors (I used the basil/garlic) or add a can of rotel for a spicy flavor.  It is a VERY forgiving recipe so adjust the counts to what you use.
